Procedural Guides Updated to Expand Inspection Options and QC Requirements

Profile certification program procedural guides have been revised extensively for 2013, and this includes AAMA 112-13, Procedural Guide for the AAMA Fenestration Exterior Fiber Reinforced Thermoset Profile Certification Program updated from the 2011 version.

Case Study: Fiberglass Contributes to Building Envelope Efficiency

HOUZE Advanced Building Science, a Houston-based technology integration and commercialization company, along with the City of Houston, has unveiled the first-of-its-kind affordable zero-energy homes in the U. S. (the "ZE" in HOUZE stands for Zero Energy). This fall, the company completed two of 30 planned zero-energy homes. The houses, available in four styles that blend with their historic north Houston neighborhood, range from 1,250 to 1,800 sq. ft. and are priced from $145,000 to $235,000.
