AAMA Announces New Member Recruitment Incentive Program

October 31, 2011

Member recruitment is an on-going activity at AAMA, as part of an overarching goal to expand the force of volunteers, advance the objectives of the association and strengthen our voice and influence in legislative and regulatory arenas.

As such, AAMA is offering complimentary registration for a future national conference for successfully recruiting a manufacturer as a new Category 1 National (Full) member. More specifically, this means that the new member must be a company that manufactures finished whole unit products, such as windows, doors, skylights, curtain wall and/or storefronts, and that elects Category 1 membership.

The recruitment of new members is especially beneficial to the groups working within AAMA as the association's credibility and influence within the industry stem from the broad expertise of a large and diverse membership.

AAMA offers a wide range of programs, services and benefits to members and is continually expanding these benefits, as well as the resources made available to members. Some of the benefits of AAMA
Membership include:

  • Access to AAMA's Members Only website, full technical resource center and enhanced Member Directory which includes contact information for all individuals on file in the member records
  • Reduced costs with member pricing on certification programs, performance standards and events
  • Participation in developing performance standards, test methods and marketing programs
  • Networking opportunities, such as AAMA events, the enhanced Member Directory and various marketing programs
  • Opportunity to have your voice heard through AAMA's Product and Material Councils, which offer forums to address concerns specific to your business segment
Feel free to ask colleagues and customers whether or not they are an AAMA member. Be open to sharing a recent experience from an AAMA event that you attended or featuring the AAMA logo on your website (note that to feature the AAMA logo a license agreement is required, which can be completed by contacting Caitlin Cusack, AAMA's Association Services Assistant).

The New Member Recruitment Incentive Program has been effective since October 1. The complimentary registration must be used within 12 months of the new company's membership activation and can be used by any employee of the recruiting member's company.

The recruiting member and main contact will be notified of the award through email by AAMA's Membership Coordinator at the time of the new company's membership activation. Reminders about any available complimentary registration will be sent periodically until the one-year expiration date.

If you have any additional questions regarding the benefits of AAMA membership or the New Member Recruitment Incentive Program, please contact Jacqueline Saenz, AAMA's Membership Coordinator.
