Glass Material Council Creates Task Group to Update Two Existing Documents

At the AAMA National Fall Conference, held in Palm Desert, CA, the Glass Material Council met to discuss critical issues.

A motion was made during the Council meeting to create a joint task group between AAMA, Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) and Glass Association of North America (GANA) in order to update CW-12 Structural Properties of Glass and GAG-1 Glass and Glazing. The Board unanimously voted that ownership of the document will remain with AAMA, and IGMA and GANA will be recognized as contributors, if they choose to participate.

Chair Tracy Rogers (Quanex) led the GMC Marketing Committee meeting in which the group reviewed articles for the monthly AAMA e-newsletter and discussed future marketing opportunities to promote the work of their group.
