JDMG Schedules Meeting at AAMA Headquarters to Review Ballot Results

August 31, 2010

The Joint Document Management Group (JDMG) continues the process of reviewing AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-08, NAFS-North American Standard/Specification for windows, doors, and skylights for the next edition to be published in 2011.

There is no new activity to report this month as the balloting process is still underway. The 3rd ballot (#380-10) containing Draft 10 of NAFS-11 was distributed to the AAMA membership on July 6. Comments were due by August 5, and a 15-day extension was implemented to obtain as many responses as possible. As of August 30, responses have been received from 63% of those originally polled. This satisfies the requirement for the ballot to be considered a valid AAMA ballot.

The complete schedule along with all other information related to this activity can be viewed on the Members Only website under Technical Arena > Harmonization Central > Joint Document Management Group (JDMG) > NAFS 2011 Development. Available agendas and minutes for all gatherings of the JDMG dating back to January 2007 are also available for viewing.
