JDMG Reviews NAFS-2011 Draft; Third Ballot Sent to AAMA Membership

July 30, 2010

The Joint Document Management Group (JDMG) held a conference call on June 18 to continue the process of reviewing AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-08, NAFS-North American Standard/Specification for windows, doors, and skylights for the next edition to be published in 2011. The purpose of the conference call was to complete the agenda items remaining after the face-to-face meeting on June 10 and 11 in Schaumburg, IL.

AAMA staff incorporated all the changes agreed upon by the JDMG and the third ballot (#380-10) containing Draft 10 of NAFS-2011 was sent to the AAMA membership on July 6. Even though the entire document was provided with the ballot, only the portions containing substantive changes from the previous ballot are open for comment. All comments are due by August 5, 2010.

The complete schedule along with all other information related to this activity can be viewed on our Members Only website under Technical Arena>Harmonization Central>Joint Document Management Group (JDMG)>NAFS 2011 Development.
