INSULATING GLASS (IG) CERTIFICATION

AAMA offers IG certification through its Gold Label certification program administrator, Associated Labs, Inc. (ALI) in Dallas, TX. The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) requires IG certification by a listed, third-party certification program for all insulating glass units used in products that are authorized for NFRC certification. This relationship brings together two powerhouses of fenestration expertise - ALI with decades of IG certification experience and AAMA with decades of fenestration product certification and standards setting experience.
In addition to ALI's competitive fees, there are immediate cost and scheduling savings for companies who currently participate in the AAMA air-water-structural certification program by performing simultaneous inspections for both the air-water-structural and IG programs.
