Architectural Window Council Mission Statement
To act as an information provider and promoter of architectural windows in the fenestration and related building products industry. It shall also act as a provider of technical, regulatory, legislative, marketing, and certification support to ensure that the appropriate standards are established, maintained, and communicated for the benefit of the users and suppliers of architectural window products.

Curtain Wall/Storefront Council Mission Statement
To act as an information provider and promoter of curtain wall and storefront in the fenestration and related building products industry. It shall also act as a provider of technical, regulatory, legislative, marketing, and certification support to insure that the appropriate standards are established, maintained, and communicated for the benefit of the users and suppliers of curtain wall and storefront products.

Envelope Design Guide - The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) under guidance from the Federal Envelope Advisory Committee, has developed this comprehensive federal guide for exterior envelope design and construction for institutional/office buildings. This guide provides information and resources regarding energy efficiency, green building construction guidelines, daylighting, blast and wind safety, flood resistance and indoor air quality.
