AIA-APPROVED EDUCATION
Classroom and Online Courses
AAMA, an AIA-approved continuing education provider and the leading trade association in the fenestration industry, has been offering continuing education since 2000. AIA members are required to earn 18 continuing education learning units each year, 8 of which must qualify as Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) units. Plus, several states have established their own continuing education requirements for licensed architects, many of which recognize AIA credits. AAMA offers multiple options to obtain these credits.
Online Courses
Your time is valuable. That's why we offer distance courses that are accessible at your convenience. Current online courses being offered are each 1 LU/HSW credit with the AIA. In addition, these courses are free. A certificate of completion is provided following successful completion of the course. For those states that recognize AIA courses, this certificate can be used for verify state-mandated requirements.
Classroom Courses
All courses are related to the window and door industry with topics covering product performance, testing, daylighting and more. Member companies may elect to present AIA-accredited, AAMA-approved classroom courses via the AAMA Continuing Education License Program. These courses provide architects, specifiers and other professionals to expand their knowledge of the fenestration industry. For more information, contact Caitlin Cusack.
