Several of the sessions I attended [during the conference] were excellent with information that allows our company to focus on the upcoming issues that we will face. By attending it allows us to not be blindsided by market changes we did not know about.
My company has been an AAMA member continuously for nearly 40 years. Perhaps the greatest value of AAMA membership lies in the opportunity to network one-on-one [during AAMA conferences]. In general, AAMA is very responsive to the needs of the industry, addressing important issues and pursuing solutions to problems. Everyone has an equal voice, a time to be heard and their viewpoint seriously considered.
Is it justified? Absolutely! I can honestly say there has never been a time when I have questioned the value of our investment of time and dollars in AAMA.
As always, the AAMA meetings are a great place to network.
Jerry Schwabauer Azon USA VP of Sales and Marketing
I am new to this industry, and I’ve belonged to a number of other industry associations over the years and this one was one of the most organized and content rich conferences I have ever attended. I found the sessions were professionally run and the attendees to be passionate with their participation and ideas.
In the last five years, we started to get involved in AAMA attending both National [conferences] and Regional meetings. AMSCO Windows has found that being involved has been very beneficial in both marketing and product development. The information provided by AAMA has helped our business. I feel we are a stronger company because of the AAMA relationship.
VEKA has been a member of AAMA since 1984. The depth of technical knowledge and positive involvement in related issues is a key reason that we consider our AAMA affiliation to be beneficial. In particular, the vinyl profile certification program is extremely important.
Being my company’s representative at AAMA [conferences] for the last 11 years has also been a tremendous benefit to me personally. I am able to discuss technical issues with my peers and have easy access to the vendors, their knowledge and product lines.
Kevin Seiling VEKA Inc. Vice President of Engineering & New Business Development
Our company has been a member for almost 30 years. We have dedicated our resources to AAMA because we believe by being involved in standards writing, lobbying, and ensuring our window product is installed properly, we can grow and protect our industry.
Our company has benefited not only by participating in the writing and revising of standards that govern our industry, but also by expanding and strengthening contacts with industry vendors and manufacturers at AAMA conferences.
Mike Kinard Kinro, Inc. Vice President of Engineering and Marketing
AAMA conferences represent one of the best opportunities to be able to interact with a broad base of the fenestration industry, including various component suppliers, equipment suppliers, manufacturers, laboratories, industry stakeholders, etc.
